MARGARET WARNER:And join us now Fiona Hill, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, from 2006 to 2009, he served as National Intelligence Officer for Russia and Eurasia in the National Intelligence Council.
Fiona Hill, it wasn't long ago that Vladimir Putin is so popular to improve living standards and bring order to Russia, although the concentration of power. What's going on?
FIONA HILL, Brookings Institution: well, I think, in many ways, it is what we call–or some people call seven year political itch.
After a certain period, brand, brand politics become obsolete. And You see that with a lot of the old leader. Thinking about several European figures recently, like Tony Blair or using United Kingdom Margaret Thatcher, my perspective here, is very popular as they come. And the end of their tenure, after they went through two terms and we really get into that–end of the Decade, they began to lose its popularity. People get a little tired of seeing them.
So, in other words, Mr. Putin brand has been stale, and he hasn't been able to revive it.

NBC'S Chuck Todd overnight host important debates in Ohio is important issue 2 voice initiative. Problem 2 is the brainchild Of Governor John Kasich (with a little help from the national party) and the issue has become one of the hottest and most policies are debated in the country because the Kasich came to power last fall.
Like many Republican Governor elected in sweeping GOP 2010, John Kasich ran as someone who will fix the economy. But, then he got sidetracked after coming into Office with an all-out attack on unions. Republicans controlled the State Senate passed Senate Bill 5, which will end collective bargaining rights for State employees, end of seniority and reduced path through which State employees can fight for the improvement of the workplace. On Novemberth 7th Ohio voters would vote yes or no on issue 2 to uphold or overturn the Senate Bill 5, respectively. I'm giving political commentary on the debate, show the main lied that both sides were dropped. In the end, looked like the Bill will be overturned anyway, and Kasich's's political career had ended after only a year in Office.
Romney found himself barnstorming with the GOP Governor's Buckeye State yesterday in support of the initiative to the end of "Obamacare" in Ohio. The catch is that he was in the State at the same time people thought that taking down the Bills harshest anti-States in the State.
Must have been politically expedient for Romney to avoid the country until after the election is over, especially since he is not going to face opposition at the time the main Ohio GOP comes around.

I don't usually bold enough to voluntarily go to Walmart during the holiday season, but I find myself there again for three hours a few weeks ago. Fortunately, I spent all that time on the sidewalk instead of waiting in the checkout line.
Through my membership in a Lions Club local midday, I once again braved the elements (in fact, I think I have a day most climate seasons) to ring the Bell for the shift as The Salvation Army annual Red Kettle campaign. This year, though, I discovered a series of instructions on the back of the sign offers great advice:
First, I learned that I don't need to ring the Bell hard I could during the shift. Instead it recommends constant gentle tones, it reminds me that people who want to let you will find me.
Second, he suggested I play a musical instrument or singing. Because I have no musical instruments, and singing I am more likely to drive people away, I decided to whistling carols while I work. Snow White would have been proud. I don't know that I try to bring more attention or contribution, but time would fly.
Lastly, a sign advised me to let young kids who took a turn in the ring a Bell. I'm not sure what is the response I would Get such a request, but You'd think I was just notified tikes I've seen their names on the list of "Nice". They are happy to help, was inspired to reach the parking lot to the sound of excited them, and as a bonus, I even had to rest my arm for a while.

Reaction to the disease Lula's says two interesting things about Brazil today. First about domestic politics. Dilma Rousseff, President, considered by many to be the President's replacement, keeping the lights on at the Palace of Plateau until his boss retired again. Even before Lula got cancer of that theory are looking shaky. MS. Rousseff has started confidently as President, the sacking of Ministers involved in corruption scandals and put his own stamp on the Government. That has endeared him to some urban middle-class voters who saw his predecessor as sitting in trees particularly foul. In short, he looks like a President, not as someone who pretends to be one for a while. Lula's the disease must be put to rest any remaining doubts about whether Ms Rousseff is women themselves.
Second, the episode highlighted the contrast between the two main types of Latin America's left. Hugo Chávez, Venezuela has sought to export the Socialist "revolution" in all parts, tried to Hush up a diagnosis of cancer earlier this year and still not reveal specifics of his condition. In Brazil, which has been endorse a pluralist vision of moderate and center-left, good details and Ms. Lula's tumor lymph cancer Rousseff in 2009 are published immediately. Hide anything of this nature would be difficult in Brazil, thanks to the tenacious press.
Former President Lula won many obstacles in his life and I'm right she will win this cancer as well. Brazil are together in this fight, because he was the most admired and most popular Brazil history.
